Basic Imprint

This is a home to the press I’m calling ‘Basic Imprint’; a selection of publications by myself and, hopefully over time, commissioned from others.

Yes, the name is because it sounds a bit like Basic Instinct. It’s also because most things here will probably be pretty basic in their production, though rich in their content.

A full colour, A5, 72 page photo zine containing a range of photographs I’ve taken over the past few months of things that have caught my eye. It’s in a very limited-edition of 10 and the price - £10 - includes postage to UK addresses. If you want a copy and live abroad, please drop me a line first so we can figure out postage.

The zine really is just a collection of random stuff. I guess, like everyone, I take a lot of photographs - part diary, part inspiration, part documentation - and they mostly sit on my phone and hard drive doing not-very-much. This is an attempt to do something with them, partly for myself as much as anything else.
